Argenta Announces the appointment of Rich Myer, as Senior Director of Business Development

Rich will guide the company’s business development implementing standard processes, delivering exceptional customer service to clients and expanding partnership and alliance opportunities.

He will be based in the US but will work closely with both the US and NZ R&D and manufacturing businesses.
  
Argenta’s CEO, Doug Cleverly, says that Rich’s extensive experience in business processes and deep understanding of all facets of the Chemistry, Manufacturing, and Controls (CMC) phase of pharmaceutical development will be a significant asset to our company.  “Having a dedicated client-focused resource based in the northern hemisphere will greatly assist our clients by expanding our reach across time zones ensuring that client communication is always timely and informed.  As we continue to grow within the US and EU markets, Rich’s role will evolve and expand over time with the addition of further resources to ensure that we maintain our gold standard client support.”

New Zealand Biotech Company Argenta Wins $100,000 Cisco Makeover Competition

AUCKLAND, New Zealand — January 16, 2012 — Cisco has today announced Kiwi biotech company Argenta as the winner of the 2011 Cisco New Zealand Communications Makeover Competition. Selected from 125 entries, Argenta will receive NZ$100,000 worth of technology and installed services sponsored by Cisco and Orcon.

"Argenta is an exciting New Zealand biotech company that is ready for the kind of technology-based business transformation the Cisco Communications Makeover offers," says Geoff Lawrie, New Zealand country manager for Cisco.

"As an export-orientated business growing the business to several new locations outside New Zealand, the innovative, collaborative business solution technologies offered by the Cisco Makeover will improve the internal collaboration between Argenta's New Zealand and United States offices, as well as help them be more productive and to engage more closely with their customers and business prospects everywhere," Lawrie added.
